Why Isnt My Internet Working
There are a lot of possible reasons for why your internet isnt working. Your router or modem may be out of date, your DNS cache or IP address may be experiencing a glitch, or your internet service provider could be experiencing outages in your area. The problem could be as simple as a faulty Ethernet cable.
To figure out the issue, try rebooting your device and your modem and router, and then call your ISP to see if its experiencing problems on its end.
Problem With The Internet Connection
Sometimes, the WiFi connected but no Internet error may be with the Internet connection and not with any device. It could be due to broken cables, service disruptions, or just about anything else thats not within your control.
That said, its important to know if the problem lies with your Internet provider. For this, check if the Internet light on the modem is working. Ideally, the power and DSL lights should be turned on. Also, ensure theres nothing unusual, such as the constant flickering of lights.
If the lights are not on or if you see flickering lights, contact your Internet service provider right away.

Put The Kids And Guests On Their Own Network And Enable Qos
Parents can put their kids devices on a separate network and establish special rules and settings. This can help keep the kids out of trouble on the web, and it eases the burden on your bandwidth.
You can set up a different Wi-Fi router, or you can simply enable your routers Guest Network option. You can also set up a different network name and password for the guest network to avoid confusion with your main network.
Guest networks are meant for visitors to your home who might need a Wi-Fi internet connection that keeps your shared files private. This segregation will also work for your smart appliances and shield your main devices from Internet of Things attacks.
You can also use QoS . QoS is a feature on some routers that will let you prioritize traffic according to the type of data getting transmitted.
You could set latency-sensitive applications like Skype, IP telephony, streaming media, and online gaming to have higher priority over other types of activity. If you prioritize Skype, for example, other software will slow down, ensuring your call is smooth.
Different routers have different ways of handling QoS, and most consumer-level routers have more simplified ways of enabling it by having presets available. Just check your routers support site for information on what each one does.

Your Windows 10 WiFi problem might be triggered by unsupported VPN software installed on your PC. If you have an old VPN client like Sonic Global Client or Cisco VPN client, then it is likely your WiFi problem is caused by this piece of software.
Microsoft has also stated that if you have old VPN software installed on your Windows 8.1 system, which was also present in your system during the Windows 10 upgrade, then problems are likely to occur. This happens because the older version of software has Filter Drivers that are not upgraded properly when you migrate to Windows 10, leading to WiFi problems.

A Recent Update Broke Wi
This can happen with some operating system updates. Windows 10 updates in mid-2020 had bugs that stopped some users from connecting to their Wi-Fi networks or even seeing a Wi-Fi connection at all. Similar updates to iOS, Android, and other platforms also have created bugs in the past that disrupt Wi-Fi connections.
When something like this happens, its best to wait for a patch that fixes the problem. In the meantime, remove the update and roll back your system to an earlier version to help get your online connectivity back.
