- Select the system keychain in the menu bar and click on passwords to view your stored passwords.

- Enter your Mac administrator username and password to view.
Second option: Terminal on Mac
- Use the spotlight search to launch the Terminal app.
- Enter the command: security-find-generic-password-ga < enter WIFI Name> | grep password.
- The system will then ask for your username and password authentication to view your network password.
Use The Wirelesskeyview App
If you don’t want to fiddle with the system settings to find the password, consider using the WirelessKeyView app. It is an excellent free Windows utility to retrieve the Wi-Fi network passwords with a click of a button.
Download and run the program to view the list of network profiles and passwords associated with them. To save the password, click on File and select Export All Items. It will save all the passwords in a text file.

Other Ways To Find Current Wifi Password On Windows 10
If you havent changed the login information of your router, you can find WiFi password on Windows 10 from your routers website.
Step 1.Open Command Prompt on Windows 10. You can press Windows + R, type cmd and hit Enter to access Windows Command Prompt screen.
Step 2. Next you can type ipconfig in Command Prompt, and hit Enter to check your IP configurations.
Step 3. Copy the IP address displayed after Default Gateway. Paste the IP address in your browser to open your routers website.
Step 4. Enter your username and password Then find the WiFi password on your routers documentation.
This way works only if you havent changed the default login details. If youve made some changes, you can reset the router by holding the Reset button for more than 10 seconds, and the default login information would be valid again.
How To Find A Wifi Password With A Mac
To find your WiFi password on an iPhone, go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud and turn Keychain on. On your Mac, go to System Preferences > Apple ID > iCloud and turn Keychain on. Finally, open Keychain Access, search for your WiFi networksname, and check the box next to Show Password.
Note: These steps will only work if your Mac is signed in to your Apple ID. If you see another Apple ID is signed in, go to Overview > Sign Out. Then sign in with your Apple ID and password.

Find Wifi Password On Windows 10 With Command Prompt
Using Control Panel, you can only view the WiFi password for the network youre currently connected to. If you want to see your current password or saved WiFi networks stored on Windows 10, youll need to use Command Prompt. These steps will also work on PowerShell.
To see the WiFi passwords from saved networks on Windows 10, use these steps:
Search for Command Prompt, right-click the result, and select the Run as an Administrator option.
Type the following command to view a list of the WiFi networks your computer connected at one point in time and press Enter:
netsh wlan show profiles

How To See Wi
Windows makes this easy, as long as you’re currently connected to the network in question. Open the Start menu and search for Network Status, then click the Change Adapter Options button that appears in the settings menu.

There are different ways to know a WiFi password on a Windows-powered laptop or desktop. You can easily know the password of the WiFi network or router that you are currently connected to. In order to do that, you can follow these steps:
- Open the Start Menu and search for Network Status. Alternatively, Right Click on the WiFi symbol at the bottom right corner of the screen and click on Open Network & Internet Settings.

As I am the administrator of my PC and dont have any restrictions, this is my go-to method for finding the WiFi password.
From the Start menu, click on Settings and then click on Network & Internet.
In the Status section, scroll down and click on Network and Sharing Center.
Now click on your WiFi name in the View your active networks section.
When the WiFi Status window opens, click on Wireless Properties here.
