1) Log into Winbox in the usual manner for the appropriate location.
2) Click IP and select Hotspot from the drop-down menu.
3) View the Active tab.
You will see a list of connected devices, identified by the assigned IP address and the User ID.
4) Select the user you wish to disconnect by clicking on the relevant row.
Once selected, click the red minus icon in the top left of the box. PLEASE NOTE Clicking will remove the user immediately with no confirmation check.

What About Software That Kicks People Off Your Wi
Search the web for this topic, and youll discover people recommending software like Netcut or JamWifi, which can send packets to other devices on your Wi-Fi network telling them to disconnect.
These software tools are basically executing a Wi-Fi deauthorization attack to temporarily boot a device from your Wi-Fi network
This isnt a real solution. Even after you deauthorize a device, it will still keep trying to connect. Thats why some tools can continuously send deauth packets if you leave your computer on.
This isnt a real way of permanently removing someone from your network and forcing them to stay disconnected.

Why Kick People Off Your Wifi Network
- Slow bandwidth and internet
- Hackers in control of your router, internet, network, and you
- Friends downloading illegal torrents
- Bandwidth exceeding FUP limits resulting in plan upgrade
- Asking people to stop is not working, nobody listens to your requests
In all the above situations, its much more efficient and easier to just kick people off your WiFi network rather than asking them to remove themselves.
Whats Next: Start Using A Guest Network
If you are planning to share your WiFi but dont want users to access your main network, create a separate guest WiFi network. For instance, say if your main WiFi is called Batman, then you can create a guest network with the name Robin and ask your guest to join that instead.
Most routers have an option to create a guest network. Simply, log into your routers settings and look for the guest network feature. In some routers like DD-WRT, its available under Wireless option, in some its found under access control lists, or you can always Google it with your router model number.
- Permanent solution, the WiFi moocher can not reconnect later
- Can change guest network password without changing the primary network password
- Guest network dont have access to file sharing on your computer

Why Cant I Remove A Device From My Google Account
If your device has been linked through a third-party app , youll need to unlink it before you can delete it from Google Home. Open the Google Home app, scroll down to the device you wish to remove, and tap it. Near the top of the screen, youll see a Settings cog icon. Tap that icon, and youll enter a menu of options for that device. Near the bottom of the list, you should see Un-link and the name of third party app link. Tap that entry and a dialog box asking you to confirm will appear. You may also be able to access these settings by going into your vacuums app , seeking out Google settings, and unlinking from there.
Note that when you un-link that app, youll lose functionality for ALL devices youve linked through that app. So if you have six TP-Link plugs, you have to unlink all of them, then re-add the ones you wish to keep . Its baffling as to why you cant simply remove a single device without un-linking the app and removing all the other units from that company. Another common ask is , which isnt hard to do.
If You Can Access The Device Connecting To Wi
In the unlikely case that you have access to someones device and they havent set a password or cant stop you, you can remove the saved password. For example, you can tell an iPhone to forget the network or delete the saved Wi-Fi network profile on Windows.
Assuming you have access to the persons device and they havent remembered or written down your Wi-Fi password, this will solve your problem. They cant reconnect on that device unless they re-enter the password. Of course, they could view it on any other devices they have access to where the password is saved.

How To Kick People Off Your Wifi On Any Device
While there is no way to kick someone off your WiFi network using CMD, the following method works in every situation. For instance, if you dont have access to a computer, rooted Android device or even when you kick someone off your WiFi with iPhone, you can still block the internet connection of any device on your network.
Simply find the IP address of the device on your network that you want to block. You have to assign this same IP address to your device by going to the static IP address settings. Here is a detailed article on how to assign a static IP address to your device.
Whats happening here is, since you are using the same IP address as your neighbor, the router will get confused. Because every router is different, there are three possibilities here the router simply disconnects both the devices from the network, the router will disconnect the old device from the network or you wont be able to connect to the network.
One thing to keep in mind is that this method may not work every time. Especially, when the DHCP server is configured to assign automatic IP addresses. This is because the victim can reinitiate the connection and the DHCP server will give him/her a new local IP address.
- No option to block multiple devices on the network or control speed
- Might not work in every situation, since this trick depends on your router
- You should know the IP address of the device you want to block
- A temporary solution, the WiFi moocher can reconnect later

Windows 10 saves a list of Wi-Fi networks you connect to along with their passphrases and other settings. If you want to stop your PC from connecting to a network automatically, youll need to make Windows forget the Wi-Fi network.
The process was obvious in Windows 7, where you could just select Manage Wireless Networks in the Control Panels Network and Sharing Center and delete saved networks. Windows 8 removed this option and forced you to use Command Prompt commands. But in Windows 10, Microsoft once again provides a graphical interface for this.

Option : Use A Guest Network In The First Place
If youre giving a guest access to your Wi-Fi network, you can make this process much easier on yourself by setting up a guest Wi-Fi network on your router. The guest network is a separate access network. For example, you could have a network Home Base and another one named Home Base Guest. Youll never give your guests access to your main network.
Many routers offer this feature, calling it a guest network or guest access in their settings. Your guest network can have an entirely separate password. If you ever need to change it, you can just change the guest network password without changing your primary network password and kicking your own devices off.
Guest networks can often be isolated from your main network, too. Your guests devices wont have access to file shares on your computers or other network-connected resources if you enable isolation or disable allow guests access to local network resources, or whatever the option is called.
Once again, youll have to dig into your routers settings to see if it has a guest network feature. However, guest networks are much more common than access control lists.
