Something could be blocking it or there could be no internet for your computer.
How Do I Fix A Connection Issue With Verizon High Speed Internet
Turning your router off and on solves most connection issues:
If rebooting your router didn’t solve the issue, check your DSL hardware to determine if your router is connected to the internet.
Note: If you have Verizon HSI service, check to make sure you installed filters on all phone devices, including fax machines and answering machines, and make sure you do not have a filter between your phone jack and router.
For more details, refer to your installation guide.
Make Sure You Have A Working Ip Address
Theres a chance that your computer is having trouble configuring a valid IP address. Your computer needs a unique IP to get on the internet, but you wont be able to if multiple devices are assigned the same IP or something has prevented your computer from assigning one. Its not a particularly common issue, but it can happenespecially if you have multiple routers on the same home network.
To ensure sure you have a valid IP address, use these instructions:
Right click on the internet icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and click Open Network and Sharing Center. Click through Change adapter settings > Ethernet > Properties > Internet Protocol Version 4.
Once youve entered Internet Protocol Version 4, select the options for Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically. This will ensure that you get an IP address that doesnt conflict with others or invalid digits.
Choose the option for setting up an IP address. To have the IP address generated automatically, choose Using DHCP. This is the easiest way to do it.
Another way to do this on a Mac is to ask your internet service provider if its given you an IP address. You can then select the option for doing it manually and type in the IP address from your internet provider. You can also enter in other information from your provider, for the subnet mask, router, and DNS server.

The Mac Address Filter
Some routers might use the Media Access Control address filter. If your router does, you may be unable to access the internet. But you can connect with the internet if the MAC address is permitted to get an IP address of its own.
There are two options you can choose from. The MAC address filter has to be disabled or your devices have to be whitelisted.

Switch To A More Reliable Dns Provider

Reset Your Router To Default Settings
If youve tried everything else to no avail, it may be time to reset your router to its factory settings. This is a pretty big step to take because it will restore the router to the way it was when you first pulled it out of the box, wiping the slate clean.
Resetting the router will erase your password and issue a default one . It will also erase any memory of custom features or guest networks youve set up through the router, and it will kick off all the devices that were signed onto the network.
Getting everything back up and running again will definitely take a chunk of time out of your day, so this is worth trying only if you have no other options.
Anyway, heres how you do it: Unplug the router and then use a safety pin or paperclip to push the button hidden in the tiny hole at the back of the router. Hold it down for a few moments and plug the router back in. After that, you can set up the router again just like new.
Check If You Are Actually Connected To The Internet
I know, this sounds stupid. But trust me, Ive been there and done that. More often than not, you might be facing this issue because your router is not connected to the internet. So, try to connect to that router wirelessly using another device and see if you can access the internet.
If the other devices connected to your WiFi network are not also able to access the Internet, then chances are either your ISP is down , or someone has accidentally cut the broadband cable coming to your house or you have simply exhausted your monthly data plan.
Most ISP has an unlimited data plan, however, there are few internet providers that capped data usage after a certain threshold. To fix this, you simply have to recharge your internet plan. Once youve done that, reboot your device and try to connect to the WiFi network again.
Another scenario is that at times some websites dont work on a particular WiFi network. For instance, in our office WiFi, all torrent websites are blocked. So, if thats the case, try opening a bunch of different websites.
If you are able to access the Internet on all the other devices except your Android smartphone, then obviously, theres something wrong with your Android. Moving forward well try to fix your Android smartphone.
